Twitter allows users to monetize content
Twitter has started allowing its users to monetize their content, giving them the opportunity to earn money from their tweets. The users will be able to offer content, including long-form text and hours-long videos.
Increasing characters to 10,000
One of the moves was to increase the length of a tweet to 10,000 characters. The italic and bold format will be accepted as well.
“We’re making improvements to the writing and reading experience on Twitter! Starting today, Twitter now supports Tweets up to 10,000 characters in length, with bold and italic text formatting. Who is eligible for a Twitter subscription feature?
To be eligible for the subscriptions feature, users need to have at least 10,000 followers, be at least 18 years old, and have an active email address and bank account. Users can set their own subscription price, with Twitter taking a 3% cut of the revenue generated.
Subscribers will have access to exclusive content, such as newsletters, audio chats, and community access. This feature provides a way for creators to offer more personalized and engaging content to their most loyal followers, while also earning a steady stream of income.
The subscription feature has several benefits for users, including the ability to earn recurring revenue from their content, build a closer relationship with their most dedicated followers, and have more control over their content and how it is presented to their audience.
